Mastering
Mastering is a form of audio post production and is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication. (Wikipedia)
We can master your recordings to the highest standard in our studio using an extensive collection of software and valve and solid state hardware to enhance and bring out the best in your product.
We can supply production masters on a Red Book Standard CD suitable for duplication which contains CD text such as Album title, Artist name, Track titles, copyright information and ISRC codes where used. (see ppluk.com).
Once approved we can send masters direct to the manufacturer of your choice at cost price for P&P or upload individual files for final assembly elsewhere.
We can supply individual mastered files as .wav, aiff or mp3 as required.
Mastering sessions can be attended by our clients or carried out on line. Files can be uploaded to us using Dropbox, Hightail, WeTransfer or any of the established FTP sites. Please use john@fairviewstudio.co.uk as the email address for online delivery.
Once mastered we will send you a two minute audio sample to check before we proceed with the final assembly of the Production Master. We can usually turn round on line mastering projects in 3-5 working days.
We can also provide in-house manufacturing and artwork to your requirements. Full details can be found here...
